Log cabins may represent the American frontier, but the cozy structures are also tied to Swedish immigration and innovation in the US. Here in the Pacific Northwest, the story of the Swedish log cabin lives on through the legacy of craftsman Henry Steiner, who built nearly a hundred cabins in the region between the 1920s-50s. This exhibition will allow visitors to go inside one of the original cabins, Fogelbo.
