The Odyssey of the Historic Jantzen Beach Carousel – From Leavenworth, Kansas to Portland, Oregon 1921 – 2022 is a fun and informative exhibit which tells the story of one of Portland’s most beloved historic carousels through photographs, interviews, artifacts and actual carousel components, including three newly-restored horses. A fourth horse, still in progress, will provide a peek beneath the paint to help visitors understand some of the challenges faced by our team of artisans when making repairs to the JBC herd.
