This "power ballad" art show honors Portland's live music venues with a series of block-printed venue posters by Anne Pick, former music writer for Bend's Source Weekly. Inspired by legendary spots like the Crystal Ballroom, Doug Fir, Mississippi Studios, and Edgefield, Pick's posters were motivated by the National Independent Venue Association's "Save Our Stages" campaign, which aims to help venues, musicians, and industry workers impacted by the pandemic. Make sure to snag a block-printed Pride shirt during the opening celebration for The Stages That Save Us. It's for a good cause—50% of the proceeds will be donated to LGBTQ charities in Portland.
