Deemed “the best contemporary summer festival in the country” by The New York Times, PICA's Time-Based Art Festival is your yearly reminder to question everything. Buckle in for ten days of experimental art, temporal performances, and interactive lectures from local and far-flung artists who'll challenge your preconceived notions of art. (There are always some pretty cool dance parties, too.) This year, the festival will introduce new Night School programming, modeled after alternative education methods and late-night learning and led by artist-educators Pepper Pepper, Zach Blas, Nana Adusei-Poku, and Kite.
