You don't have to be an aspiring novelist to enjoy the fruits of Tin House's Summer Workshop—you can bypass all the tuition fees, the long coffee-fueled nights, the searching for the proper muse, all the rigmarole that goes into creating quality fiction, and simply walk into the Reed College Amphitheatre, sit down, and hear a week's worth of stories from some of the finest American writers currently working, for free, every night. Includes readings by Michelle Tea, Steve Almond, Rachel Kushner, Joy Williams, Jess Walter, and many more.
