Presented by The Immigrant Story and NW Documentary, this compilation of five documentary shorts will be screened in observance of Genocide Awareness Month. The films share first-person accounts of genocide, each with a strong throughline of survival. Sankar Raman, president of The Immigrant Story, will moderate a panel talk with Emmanuel Turaturanye from Rwanda, Saron Khut from Cambodia, and genocide studies scholar Dr. Amanda Byron Singer after the screening.
