About this event

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. All ages and abilities are welcome!

  • A registration form must be completed for each volunteer.
  • Parents: please fill out a form for each child/dependent. Students ages 16 or older can volunteer without an adult present.

Accessibility: The planting site is in a flat area about a 15 minute walk down a paved path.

What to bring: Face covering or mask and a water bottle.

What we provide: sanitized planting gloves, shovels, extra masks, snacks and warm beverages.

What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, rain gear and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.

Before the event: You will receive an email with a specific parking location and additional details. Staff are closely following the CDC’s COVID guidelines and will alert all registered guests to any event changes, including cancellation.

At the event: Estuary Partnership staff will share project goals and demonstrate planting techniques. We will review COVID guidelines to ensure safe planting, distribute tools and organize volunteers into small, dispersed groups.
