New to White Bird and launching the 2022-23 season of White Bird Uncaged is Dallas Black Dance Theatre, who will perform on October 20-22, 2022, 8:00pm (Thursday-Saturday) at Lincoln Hall, Portland State University. Dallas Black Dance Theatre is the oldest and largest operating professional dance company in Dallas, Texas. The ensemble of 14 gifted dancers will perform a program of powerful work featuring Darrell Grand Moultrie's LIKE WATER, commissioned by Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival as the inaugural recipient of the Joan B. Hunter New Work Commission.

Shay Kuebler's Radical System Art made a huge impact with its White Bird Uncaged debut and presentation of Telemetry in 2019. On November 17-19, 2022, 8:00pm (Thursday-Saturday) at Lincoln Hall, Portland State University, Radical System Art will perform Shay's newest work, Momentum of Isolation. Radical System Art fuses dance, theatre and martial arts with interactive technology and design to create gripping performances. Momentum of Isolation, developed in 2019 before the onslaught of COVID-19, explores how our digital existence divides us and yet how we find powerful ways to connect with one another.

Concluding White Bird Uncaged, and new to White Bird, is The TL Collective, performing on January 26-28, 2023, 8:00pm (Thursday-Saturday) at Lincoln Hall, Portland State University. Micaela Taylor, Founder/Artistic Director of The TL Collective, is one of today's most in-demand choreographers on the West Coast. Taylor's versatile 8-member company will perform Drift, a work called "stunning, powerful and insightful" by LA Dance Chronicle.
