The following description comes from the event organizer.

France is one of the most important wine regions in the world. Much of the modern wine world is credited to France and what they have learned over many centuries of perfecting their art. For this series, we are focusing on some of the main regions of France: Bordeaux, Rhône Valley, and Burgundy. Together we will taste taste some iconic styles, learn about each regions history, terroir and their greater impact around the world!

Burgundy

Totally mystified by a bottle of Burgundy? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Wine labels in France can be overwhelming with all of these regions, sub-regions and vineyard specific wines. Trust us when we say that every word is very important and can make a drastic difference on the price of the wine! So whats the difference between a Borgogne Rouge and a Gevrey-Chambertin Charmes-Chambertin? Join us for the class and we will break down what you need to know as a consumer.

See you all there!
