The following description comes from the event organizer.

Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth & Leftover Salmon have come together to announce a joint tour, which will commence in Eugene, Ore., on June 23 at The Cuthbert Amphitheater. The seven-stop romp is presented by Relix and will see each ensemble deliver a full set at every location.

Next, the trio of musicians will travel to Bend, Ore., for the follow-up to their initial night on stage, which will occur on June 24 at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. The Pacific Northwest start will close after a pair of Bever State gigs and picks back up on August 9 at Bell’s Brewery in Kalamazoo, Mich.

In continuation of their collaborative outing, the groups will make their way to Cincinnati on August 10, where they will perform at the Taft Theatre. The ensuing show will land on August 11, when the groups of jammers arrive at Rose Music Center at The Heights in Huber Heights, Ohio.

The following night, August 12, Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth & Leftover Salmon will tackle People Fest in Hillsboro, Wis., prior to their final billed performance as a trio, which arrives on August 13 at The Forge in LeMont, Ill.

According to the esteemed players, the impending run of shows will see each band play complete sets of tunes. In addition, the order of the bands will vary each night and will not be shared in advance, adding to the electrifying nature of the linked run.

In a post by Railroad Earth announcing the upcoming shows, they added that more stops would be tacked on to the tour in the coming months. (via Relix)
