As the days get longer and warmer, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to experience traditionally indoor activities, like going to the movies, in the fresh air. Luckily, there are tons of opportunities in Seattle this summer to lay out on a blanket (or a lawn chair, or the hood of your car) with your favorite snacks as you watch great films, including screenings of classics like The Big Lebowski and Back to the Future, and newer releases like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Mary Poppins Returns. July 9-Aug 27: Bellevue Downtown Park Past Event Like List
This eight-week movie series will include some deep cuts (Hotel Transylvania 3) alongside much-quoted classics (Back to the Future). Admission is free (as is the popcorn), but you're encouraged to donate to the various non-profit charities represented each week.

Peddle into the park on your two-wheeler for a screening of Lilo & Stitch, the classic Disney flick about a little girl who adopts an adorable dog who turns out to be an adorable alien. Northwest Folklife musicians will provide live music before the movie.
