Details: Inspired by William Speidel’s classic cookbooks, Addo's You Can't Eat Mt. Rainier series is back, bringing $65 Saturday meals (starting Saturday, June 6) to enjoy at home that highlight different eras in the Seattle restaurant scene.
The London Plane
The airy Melrose Market restaurant will reopen on Wednesday, June 3 with all sorts of pantry items, baked goods, cooking gear, and other goodies in store. Their new hours will be 10 am-6 pm, Wednesday-Saturday.
Salt & Straw

Sisters and Brothers
The popular fried-chicken restaurant (which got a boost when Guy Fieri featured it on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives) is opening a new flagship location in the former space of Chen's Village in Interbay on Wednesday, June 3, reports Eater.
Starting in June, Christina Wood's pop-up bakery will start doing weekly pastry box pickups with two options: a TGIF Sweets box on Fridays and a Weekend Survival box with a mix of savory and sweet items, a jar of jam, and a six-ounce bag of Broadcast coffee on Saturdays.
The Hopelink Mobile Market will post up in the Woodinville Library parking lot to provide pre-packed food boxes to those in need. Each household will be able to pick up enough food for "at least 21 meals" per visit.

Details: The Queen Anne cafe will mark its reopening with a pop-up and Northwest Harvest food drive in their outdoor beer garden. Wear a mask, keep your distance, and stop by to browse to-go goodies from Hello Robin, Tres Lecheria, and Rubinstein Bagels. Don't forget to bring canned food to donate.
The Crawfish Boil with Chef Matt Lewis
Details: Chef Matt Lewis (the owner of Where Ya at Matt) will walk you through a classic Southern-style crawfish boil in a livestreamed class. Order your kit (complete with three pounds of crawfish, Andouille sausage, corn, potatoes, onion, celery, garlic, lemons, and seasoning) by noon on May 28.
Cues & Brews BBQ Bash for Frontline Foods Seattle
Details: Jack's BBQ, Reuben's Brews, and Snohomish Pie Co. are teaming up for a dinner package benefiting Frontline Foods Seattle, a volunteer-led mission to feed those working on the frontlines. Details: Local restaurant mavens and seafood queens Renee Erickson and Julia Sullivan will lead you on an oyster-shucking journey via Zoom. The $75 package that comes along with the class includes four dozen oysters, including Pelican, Hama Hama, Blue Pool, and Sea Cow varietals, along with Henrietta Red Green Curry Butter and other optional add-ons.

Details: Baseball season is on hiatus this year, but Chef Eric Rivera will fry up peanuts and Cracker Jacks for a 7:05 viewing of the Double (aka the famous double hit by the Seattle Mariners' Edgar Martínez in the 1995 American League Division Series) on May 11. The "virtual ballpark experience" also comes with a Seattle Dog kit, a garlic fries kit, red rope, and a six-pack of Olympia beer. Plus, on May 15, Addo will launch its five-course Fusion Series of $45 Puerto Rican and Italian meals for pickup.

Washington Potato Growers

Details: Washington Potato Growers sell most of their crops to local fast-food restaurants, but in light of closures and cutbacks amid the COVID-19 crisis, they have an excess of taters on their hands. To fix that, they'll hold their "largest potato giveaway to date" with help from Emergency Food Network volunteers, who plan to distribute 200,000 pounds of the starchy vegetable and load them into people's cars at the Tacoma Dome on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pop-up details: Since Girl Scouts had to cut their cookie season short in light of COVID-19, the regional drugstore chain is now the exclusive seller of Thin Mints, Samoas, Lemon-Ups, and your other favorite cookies from the Girl Scouts of Western Washington. As of April 29, all 67 locations sell eight varieties.
The Brewmaster's Taproom
Pop-up details: Every Monday from 5:30-7 pm through May 11, this drive-through grocery store will provide bread, deli, pastries, fruits, and vegetables for free for those in need. Donations can be made here.
Restaurant details: "Chef Brendan McGill and the Hitchcock team are set to launch a new pop-up, Sacka-Burgers, on Wednesday, May 6 at the Hitchcock Deli space on Bainbridge Island. Sacka-Burgers is Hitchcock's take on a classic burger joint-think smash burgers from your childhood-but made using Pure Country Beef from the Preservation Meat Collective. Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery

They'll also have a limited amount of take-and-bake molten cakes and other confections, which you can always preorder through their Birthdays Don't Stop program.
Restaurant details: In addition to their regular takeout program (Wednesday-Sunday from 4-8 p.m.) and their Sunday Night Fried Chicken family-style meals, Le Coin has a new Family Brunch service from 10 a.m-1 p.m. Offerings are pretty classic, ranging from bread pudding French toast to chicken and waffles to the restaurant's famous apple fritters with cinnamon sugar and pear butter. This week, they're partnering with Lantern Brewing to offer a Burgers and Beer Take Out Pack for $45.

Creamery details: The local creamery has launched a Pint Club for Whidbey Island residents (and people with cars). They'll be bringing back old favorites and new flavors alike, which can be picked up starting Memorial Day weekend at the former Freeland Freeze (located next to Rocket Taco).
Restaurant details: Following last week's Friday chili dinner, the north Seattle deli has a new comfort food announcement: a BBQ brisket meal in two sizes to feed households of two ($50) or four ($95). You're looking at a BBQ brisket sandwich (which you can sub for smoked tofu if you want) on a challah bun with Painted Hills pulled brisket and housemade BBQ sauce, zesty coleslaw, herb-roasted home fries, and a mixed green salad, plus white cake with strawberry and Sidhu Farms rhubarb compote and whipped cream for dessert. Restaurant details: As of this week, Bluwater is offering custom martini kits with a liter of Grey Goose, two martini shells, five types of stuffed olives, twists, and olive juice for $60. Plus, they're giving away complimentary Bailey's bread pudding to those who spend $25 or more.

Store details: The family-run oyster and tree farm has booted up Operation Farmgate: a weekly selection of bivalves at "rock bottom prices," available for preorder and delivery. This week, they're partnering with Boston's Island Creek Oyster Company to offer a species sampler pack, which you can get delivered on either April 23-24, that includes a dozen fresh, ready-to-shuck Virginica, Olympia, and Pacific bivalves for $60.
Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery
Restaurant details: So far, Hot Cakes has raised $13,500 and donated 13,000 cookies to frontline healthcare workers through their Project Cookie initiative. They're currently accepting more donations to keep it going in tandem with their Birthday's Don't Stop delivery program.
Macrina Cafe and Bakery
Bakery details: If you've already conquered sourdough during the quarantine, move onto whole wheat with the longtime Seattle bakery chain's bake-at-home kit. It yields two loaves.

Pike Place Market Atrium Kitchen
Restaurant details: Atrium's new meal kit, available for Thursday and Friday pickup, packs up local ingredients from Pike Place Market and throws in recipes, chef notes, and cooking tutorials from Chef Traci. This week and next week, the kit includes a spot prawn boil with a baguette and chive butter, cedar plank salmon with honey blackberry glaze, lemon molasses chicken thighs, veggie soba noodles with peanut dressing, and more tasty stuff.
The Pine Box
Bar details: The mortuary-turned-bar is now open for takeout on Wednesdays from 3-6 pm and Fridays from 12-4 pm. On Wednesday, April 22, they're releasing a new line of bottled cocktails, including the Trapped in Paradise Mojito for $10.
Brewery details: Reuben's is partnering with other beer-makers around Seattle for their Hometown Series, which kicks off on Friday, April 24 with an Urban Family Brewing Co. collab—a hazy IPA brewed with oats, peach, passionfruit, and mango that will be available on Friday and into next week. Seattle Hospitality Emergency Fund
Program details: Bartenders across Washington have contributed cocktail recipes to a downloadable e-book curated by industry leader Casey Robison, with proceeds benefiting the Seattle Hospitality COVID-19 Emergency Fund.
Serafina & Cicchetti
Restaurant details: The Eastlake Italian restaurant and its little sister, Cicchetti, will reopen for takeout and delivery within a five-mile radius. Current offerings include regular menu items (like rigatoni bolognese from Serafina and a half-roast chicken from Cicchetti), as well as a take-and-bake items like prime rib, pork, chicken, and vegetable skewers. If you're restocking your pantry, you can order items like cookie dough, dry pasta, and sauces, as well as wine and beer and cocktail kits (the latter of which will be coming at the end of this week).
Pop-up details: Operating out of his Ballard Warehouse Kitchen, Tom Douglas has opened SeriousTakeOut, a no-contact drive-thru, walk-up, and delivery site with a smattering of Serious Pie pizzas, oven-baked sandwiches, and wine, beer, and signature cocktail kits. Vif & Petite Soif
Restaurant details: The sister wine bars and cafes have expanded their pickup days to Thursday-Saturday, and they've added some new menu and larder items. At Vif, ready-to-eat items include a Little Gem salad; an asparagus frittata; a kit with a can of Sprats, Seawolf Bakers rye, pickled red onion, and labneh; and Italian wedding soup. Cafe details: Ada's is opening a low-contact Pi(e) Shop for the month of April ("and possibly beyond"). They'll have a rotating assortment of daily ready-to-heat-up specials available for preorder and pickup.
Ballard and University District Farmers Markets
Market details: Rejoice (with caution): The Ballard and University District Farmers Markets will return on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, respectively. They write, "We are all responsible in being diligent when it comes to strict distancing, routine sanitation, and extended health measures at our food access points." They also recommend sending one shopper per household, preordering from vendors, and bringing reusable bags.
Restaurant details: Order a Brunch Kit from SeaBear Smokehouse and pick it up from any of Blazing Bagels' locations, then plate up and join others on Facebook Live. Delivery service details: Olga Sagan, the owner of beloved local Russian bakery chain Pirosky Piroshky, has cooked up an idea for a new delivery service, which Seattle Met describes as "a simple online hub for local restaurants offering delivery, takeout, or both." It's an alternative to third-party services like Uber Eats and Caviar that often charge large delivery fees. The website is currently stocked with 60 local restaurants, who can control the message and menu that customers see.
Guerrilla Pizza Kitchen
Restaurant details: "I don't have much to offer the community as a small business owner except, well, pizza. Starting today I'll be taking orders for pick up this Friday 3/20. How does it work? Good question. This pizza frenzy will be PAY WHAT YOU WILL, I won't have assigned prices, I won't be running your card and payment isn't mandatory. $0 or $100, you get fed all the same. Pop-up details: With many local farmers markets closed for the time being, Ballard urban farm Tight 5 is coming through for you—for the next three weekends (until April 12), from noon to 6 pm, they'll sell produce from vendors who you usually see at Sunday markets. You can order online for pickup.
