Schmaltzy's Delicatessen List
We may be getting a new Jewish deli, but another one is leaving us: This popular spot from former Napkin Friends List owner Jonny Silverberg announced this week on Instagram that it will close its doors after almost three years of business on July 3. The post read, "The economic metrics that we built our business model on no longer exist due to the pandemic and its lasting effects on our economy, costs, and labor." All is not lost, however—the Schmaltzy's team plans to open a "new Jewish concept" with a "different way of executing it that fits into how things are now" in a few months.
