The West Seattle cocktail bar and smokehouse has you covered with a pre-Father's Day meat market bazaar Add to a List on Tuesday, June 14, with freshly smoked Wagyu burgers, a full supply of Wagyu beef from Japan and local farms, rare whiskey in pocket-sized bottles, and custom take-home cocktails.

The Lakehouse Add to a List
James Beard Award-winning chef Jason Wilson's Bellevue farm-to-table restaurant will serve a special three-course steak dinner for dine-in on Father's Day, with a grilled romaine Caesar salad, grilled 35-day aged ribeye steak, and a double chocolate salted caramel cupcake. If you prefer to dine at home, they'll also have two takeout boxes available for pickup on Saturday, June 18: "It Gets Better with Age" (dry-aged prime grade ribeye steak with loaded potatoes, sautéed corn, Cabernet peppercorn sauce, grilled romaine Caesar salad, aged balsamic heirloom tomatoes with whipped ricotta and basil, and double chocolate salted caramel cupcakes) and "The Thrill of the Mixed Grill" (prime coulotte steak, chile and lime prawns, Southern ranch chicken breasts, chorizo sausage, asparagus and basil pesto, Mexican street corn, mixed greens with fresh herbs, and Greek-style tomato salad). Round out the meal with drink add-ons, such as oak-barrel-aged whiskey Manhattans, spicy margaritas, mojitos, Kilchoman 2011 Impex Cask Islay Single Cask Scotch, and various wines.

Make it a Father's Day to remember by scarfing as many franks as you can at this whimsical Wallingford dive's first annual hot dog eating competition Add to a List , which will also raise funds for United Way Black Community Building Collective in honor of Juneteenth. Prizes include a portable charcoal grill, gift cards for The Octopus Bar and its sibling Salty Shack, and other surprises. Be forewarned: According to the official rules, vomiting is an automatic disqualification.

Indie-folk top-dog Andrew Bird has had a busy couple of years with an acting role on FX’s Fargo and the release of multiple acclaimed works, including the Grammy-nominated, politically-charged 2019 album, My Finest Work Yet. He will support his upcoming release, Inside Problems, for a double-headed show with fellow acoustic giant Iron & Wine. Expect to hear some tunes from his last solo full-length, Beast Epic, as well as other finger-picked tear-jerkers you may remember from the various Twilight movies.
