On Sunday, August 22nd, Mason and Matt turned on the stage lights at the beloved Tim's Tavern for one final show.

A Seattle institution and one of the oldest bars in the city (founded in 1934). For over a decade, Tim's served as an incubator for local musicians. A haven for budding talent, known for forging bonds through weekly open mic nights, with many artists forming bands that have gone on to become staples in the Seattle music scene.

From Vanishing Seattle: "Tim's shut down in March 2020, but found creative ways to survive the pandemic and support artists through livestreams, a GoFundMe, and the Save Tim's Fest. They reopened in July only to to face the rising Delta variant---on top of ongoing problems with the landlord, Limantzakis Properties (they own a bunch of properties in Seattle), that eventually forced them out...With the lease up in November, Mason & Matt decided to close and seek new location, ideally with space for outdoor performances."

The iconic Tim's Tavern neon sign may not be illuminated right now, but for one night in the Bad Jimmy's beer garden, Randy Weeks and Mason Reed will grace the stage in tribute to the tavern that brought our community together.
