The following description comes from the event organizer.

🍀 Celebrate American Heart Month with Comedy, Celtic Music, and a Couple o' pints!

🍀This fun fundraiser benefits a new Seattle theatre show on its journey to Edinburgh Fringe Festival and beyond.

🍀"Broken Wide Open" is the true story of Seattle theatre artist, Shana Pennington-Baird, surviving emergency heart surgery while alone & abroad in Ireland. It is a story of hope and resilience. You'll laugh. You'll cry.

🍀It is a one-woman musical featuring beautiful Celtic music as a thank you to the Irish people who saved Shana's life.

Come join the cast and enjoy:

🍀Stand up comedy
🍀Celtic songs from the show
🍀A silent auction
🍀Merriment! Beer! Food! Huzzah! 🍻

All proceeds support the cost of taking the show back to where it all started -- a tour through Edinburgh, Scotland, and Cork and Dingle, Ireland.
