The following description comes from the event organizer.
A girl with a cursed inheritance,A monster waiting in the dark,
A scientist searching for the light,
A witch fighting for her legacy,
…and a woman willing to give anything to keep her family safe.
Fleeing the horrors inflicted by the partitions of Poland, Maja Koleski makes a deal with a Noonwitch to see her family to America safely.
The price of their passage will haunt the family for generations.
In this brand-new play from Amazingly Anxious Productions, Maja’s great-great-granddaughter (herself a magical storyteller) navigates the complications of her inheritance while battling her own demons and exhuming together a story long since buried.
A family history twisted into folklore, An Inheritance of Light explores the event horizon between magic and science, and the gray area between dark and light where life really happens.
Please note, that this show mentions generational trauma, anxiety, suicide, depression, and other subjects related to mental health issues.
