Although they've been a stellar resource for reclaimed materials in the Puget Sound area for decades, you might not associate Second Use Building Materials with visual art. They've set out to change that with the Big Gay Salvage Art Show, planned just in time for Pride to showcase works by local LGBTQ+ artists. The outdoor pop-up gallery will include musical vibes from DJ Starseed and delectable bites from Blackstar Kebab and Lovely & Dapper Desserts. Beneficial Brewing will be on site to wet your whistle while you browse the salvage-made works by Sofya Belinskaya, Blake Blanco, Ian “Bub” Davis, and others.
