The following description comes from the event organizer.

Fall migration brings a flood of birds through the Pacific Flyway on their long journey south. How can we know when birds are on the move?

Seattle Audubon hosts Andrew Farnsworth, a Senior Research Associate in the Center for Avian Population Studies at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, for a presentation about new technologies that can be used to study bird movements at a large scale. And, we'll examine how we can turn that science information into action to make birds' journeys a little bit safer on their way through the Seattle area.
