With a marriage between viola, violin, hip-hop samples, and a tight rhythm section, string duo Black Violin, consisting of violist Wil B. and violinist Kev Marcus, aims to strip away the preconceived notions of classical music by blurring the lines between genres. This won't be your typical classical recital—the pair encourages a rowdy party atmosphere at their shows.
