The following description comes from the event organizer.

The LCD series is a collaborative process between Chris Trueman (digital video), MakeitRad (3D design) and Eliot Lipp (sound engineering) that begins with the screen as the nexus between real and virtual. While technology marches toward further integration of the physical and digital, the majority remains separated by the thin veil of the screen. LCD refers to the liquid crystal display technology which uses light-modulating properties of liquid crystals combined with polarizers to alter the way that projected light reaches the viewer. It simultaneously it refers to the literal reference to the forms that are generated within the artwork with shards of color and light appearing and disappearing into the space.

What would a painting look and feel like if it came alive and inhabited space? What sounds would it make? How would the form move within the defined space, and how would we as viewers relate and make sense of this new form?
