Christine Nguyen, Cosmic Gardens
The following description comes from the event organizer.
“Cosmic Gardens is new series of photo-based paintings and drawings inspired by the cosmos, nature, the sciences and the ocean. The works fluctuate between the micro and macro-worlds while connecting the flora and fauna to the celestial heavens of the stars and planets. This series is part of my ongoing investigations of our connection to the natural world. I depict imaginary in a meditative space where everything is connected and harmonious. Through a photographic and salt crystallization process, the images becomes illuminated with multifaceted crystalline shapes linking to the natural world.”
