"Bangles, dangles, studs? Let’s add to that earring collection. Create your own hand stitched pair of earrings in a hands on workshop! Join fiber artist Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ for a two-hour class. You can choose from prickly pear cactus, mushroom, or flower designs, or create your own! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transfer a design, create the radial satin stitch, seed stitch, and running stitch, as well as finish your embroidery in the earring setting.

Each participant will receive a full kit that includes peach cotton fabric, a beechwood embroidery hoop, an embroidery needle, full skeins of DMC thread, a transfer pen, a pair of earring settings, and printed instructions.

This in-person class will take place at Monster, 1716 NW Market St., on January 25th starting at 6:30 PM.
