Gabriel Seaver with Sawtooth
The following description comes from the event organizer.
Gabriel Seaver's guitar playing is informed by the biocosmos, water, sitting, walking, dancing, afro/latin rhythms, friends, minimalism, improvisation, traveling, loving and listening. When he was younger he studied under the now late Piedmont country blues guitarist John Cephas and Malian guitarist Cheik Hamala Diabate.
He has spent the last decade working with his band Weeed producing many albums and touring extensively throughout the US and internationally. This year he is turning his full attention to his solo work with the release of ‘Tuning' (via Halfshell Records) and has plans to tour through the western US and Mexico.
