About the Exhibition:
In an exciting new addition to the Barbro Osher gallery, Across the West and Toward the North(Opens in a new window) provides a new examination of Norwegian and American landscape photography in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Join co-curators Shannon Egan and Marthe Tolnes Fjellestad as they immerse guests in the historical moment when once remote wildernesses were first surveyed, developed, and photographed on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
