The following description comes from the event organizer.

Read exhibits smaller casein and acrylic abstract works on upcycled materials for Interstice Six.

Rosemary Read artist statement: I am an artist from Rhode Island, currently based in Seattle, Washington. I primarily create abstract paintings on up-cycled wood or paper, driven by the beauty and intricacy of fluvial landforms, the powerful sense of movement in nature, energy, and emotion. Casein and/or acrylic paint is the typical medium used in my work.
