What better way to celebrate Juneteenth than at a park named after Seattle native and rock legend Jimi Hendrix, within shouting distance of the Northwest African American Museum? This feel-good celebration kicks off with a Black business panel and five-hour party on Saturday, followed by a parade and all-day festival on Sunday. Organized by Africatown Community LandTrust, the event spotlights Black brilliance and resilience throughout American history.
