The winners of the 2022 "Best New Band," award from the Washington Blues Society, Kim & Brian, have released an extraordinary EP "In the Valley Of The Blues" after a successful crowdfunding campaign from their legion of supportive fans. The official release is at the Spanish Ballroom and will be presented by the Blues Vespers. The new EP from Kim & Brian is a brilliant fusion of musical influences across a gamut of styles, mixing blues with country, jazz, soul, and classic R&B. A tasty appetizer leaving the listener wanting for more. The five-song collection is exactly what you would expect from such a dedicated and talented singer/songwriter team, who are also acclaimed guitarists, and their impeccable rhythm section of Jerome Gates on Bass and award-winning drummer Andrew Cloutier (Left Hand Smoke, Lee Oskar).
