The Northwest African American Museum will offer free admission to guests on Malcolm X Day, which celebrates the would-be 98th birthday of American Muslim minister and radical Black human rights activist El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, aka Malcolm X. This year's family-friendly offerings include an interactive storytime reading of Walter Dean Meyers's Malcolm X: A Fire Burning Brightly, plus civil rights-themed arts and crafts activities, a Knowledge Is Power book giveaway, a to-be-announced documentary film screening, and more.
