Mini Mart City Park Opening Celebration and Nikita Ares

This event is in the past
Sat Jul 9, 3 - 9 pm
Mini Mart City Park Georgetown (Seattle)
This is an in-person event
Stranger staff writer Jas Keimig once described Nikita Ares's vibrant compositions as "visual permutations of "!!!!!!!!!!!" We couldn't agree more. Ares's color-splattered new exhibition will include a photo op with the artist's massive abstract mural, so visitors can be part of the art, too. It's all part of the grand opening of Mini Mart City Park, a former gas station that's been transformed into a community center for arts, education, and environmental action. Scope out the new space and grab a bevvy—Georgetown Brewing and Badger Goods will be on site for the event with coffee and beer.
