Reggaetón artist Nicky Jam is on the song of the decade—“X” (pronounced "equis"), which also features the inimitable, never-had-a-flop-literally-ever J. Balvin. It’s reggaetón. Dancehall. Afrobeat. Pop. The only good things left in this world. Nicky arrives at the perfect time, too. We’re in the early spring. We’re stoned. We maybe had a sip of something kinda strong. All we want to do is slide up against other strangers in WaMu Theater while Nicky goes through hit after hit: “Baby,” “Te Robaré” (alongside another reggaetón/Latin trap giant, Ozuna), “Travesuras.” I think Nicky is willing summer to come early with this show.
