The following description comes from the event organizer.

The Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade strips the rights of millions of Americans to make deeply personal and medical decisions about their own bodies and futures, meaning that for the first time ever, Americans have lost a fundamental constitutional right.

On Tuesday, July 5 at 6:00 PM PT, the Office of Congressman Adam Smith is hosting a virtual panel discussion with leaders from reproductive rights organizations in Washington state to discuss the implications of this decision here at home and in states across the country, including the broader implications for civil rights, and what our fight looks like going forward.

We will be joined by leaders from Planned Parenthood, Pro-Choice Washington, and Cedar River Clinics.
