Join us for the inaugural PenMet Parks Bike Bash presented by Neighborhood Experts Real Estate! Organized by the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor, Kiwanis Club of Gig Harbor, and PenMet Parks, this is a festival where families can learn more about biking, test out several different kinds of bikes, and enjoy music and food! Biking has the potential to improve places and people’s lives!  We envision PenMet Parks Bike Bash as an event that gets the public excited about biking and also teaches them best practices for riding in the safest and most enjoyable ways possible.

Look forward to:

• Bike Safety Education Class for adults (Cycling Savvy) (registration required/fee Friday night classroom session with Saturday on bike clinics for small group) 
• Pop-up Traffic Garden for kids (where kids can practice typical intersection conditions in a fun and safe environment - thank you Cascade Bicycle Club!
• Bike “Rodeo” Skills Course for kids organized by the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance
• Basic Bike Maintenance Demonstrations
• Bike Swap and Vendors
• Adaptive Cycling Resources
• Free helmets for children and helmet fitting
• Food trucks
• Music and cycling related entertainment
