Peter Gabriel's "Don't Give Up" music video featuring earth angel Kate Bush remains one of my favorites of all time. In the video, Gabriel and Bush hold each other as they spin on a rotating podium in front of a pixelated graphic of an eclipsing moon (that's it—that's the video). It is soapy and overly dramatic while keeping things stunningly simple, which is precisely how I'd describe Gabriel's music as a whole. He will swing through town in support of his first album in 21 years, i/o.
