Pixar cooked up a fantastic script for their tale of a rat who dreams in flavors and spices. When young Remy sees a cooking show on human TV, he becomes obsessed with creating the perfect high-end dishes. When fate sends his colony to Paris, he seizes his chance to work in a gourmet kitchen, teaming up with a sympathetic human to act as his puppet in the kitchen. The film holds up on its own, and is the perfect pairing with Everything Everywhere All At Once which it oddly has a strong influence upon.
