The National Park Service, the state Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, and the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation will wrap up their Seattle Area Latino Heritage Survey with talks by project participants Estela Ortega, Maria Ivarra, and Anita Morales. They've examined such topics as the movement of Mexican Americans from the Yakima Valley to the Seattle area, the rise of Latinx entrepreneurs, the UW's Chicano movement, and the origins of El Centro de la Raza and Sea Mar Community Health Centers.
