The following description comes from the event organizer.

Seattle Yiddish Fest is back for its third edition, March 31-April 2, featuring workshops in klezmer and yiddish song and dance, a dance ball and our closing concert at The Royal Room. This year we have an incredible faculty, including two of the founders of the klezmer revival, national heritage fellow Michael Alpert and Stuart Brotman, plus festival directors Sasha Lurje and Craig Judelman. The festival is open to people of all backgrounds and levels of musicianship and will feature a Sunday lecture series for those who want to participate but don't dance, sing or play. The theme of this year's festival is Jewish-Ukrainian culture and we will also be raising money for Ukraine all weekend. All tickets are sliding scale, no one will be turned away for lack of funds!
