"Pongo Poetry Project is hosting Speaking Volumes, its third annual fall celebration, with acclaimed poet and author, Ross Gay, as guest of honor. Speaking Volumes is presented by The Poetry Foundation and the celebration will be streamed live on YouTube, Wednesday September 28th from 7-8 pm PST. The event is free to the public but donations are strongly encouraged. 

The evening will raise funds to support Pongo’s poetry programming, and feature a poetry reading from Ross Gay, the voices of the youth writers it serves, and stories of impact from across its twenty-seven-year history. 
 
Immediately prior to the celebration, Pongo will host a 30-minute virtual reception and Q&A with guest of honor, Ross Gay. The virtual reception will be streamed live on YouTube from 6:30-7pm PST. Ticket purchasers will have the opportunity to hear directly from Ross Gay about his writing and ask questions about his work." (Promo Copy)
