The following description comes from the event organizer.

Housing is an important part of the sustainability conversation. What materials do we use to make our homes? Where do we make our homes? How do people access housing? What are the implications of housing as a part of the economic model? Considering that we have what we need to house all people, why and how do we see inequities persist?

In Seattle, housing is a particularly charged topic, as we remain one of the most expensive cities in the country, residing on the ancestral lands of the federally unrecognized Duwamish Tribe.

This Think Tank will explore these questions and alternative visions to what sustainable housing in Seattle could look like, and initiatives already underway to make these visions a reality.

Amazing guests from our community to spark the conversation: City of Seattle Office of Housing and Urban Development, BIPOC Sustainable Tiny Art House Community, Sawhorse Revolution, and YOU.

Register to attend here, this event is free and donations are appreciated.

Sponsored by Culture Shift Consulting, an organization dedicated to community-centric strategy development and program management.
