The following description comes from the event organizer.

We are thrilled to announce our Tessellate dinner series is back for Spring 2023. This is our idea of a modern day supper club. Collaborating with talented chefs from diverse backgrounds, we have curated distinctive menus coupled with Fair Isle beers. April 3rd will be the first dinner in the series, hosted by Chef Johnny Courtney and his new venture, Atoma.

Chef Johnny Courtney, previously the executive sous-chef at Canlis for four years, has honed his culinary skills in top restaurants across the globe, including Australia, Mexico, Denver, and Seattle. With the launch of Atoma, he brings together his love for food, hospitality, and community, promising a distinctive dining experience. Courtney’s cuisine blends traditional and contemporary European influences, highlighting seasonal ingredients and bold flavors, all meticulously crafted with an eye for detail.

Atoma strives to provide a thoughtful dining experience in an informal setting. Contemporary food, highlighting the best of what we can find each season locally. We prepare food that speaks to the diverse background of our team. Drawing inspiration from our varied experiences, we make a cuisine that’s unique to Washington and uniquely Atoma.

Atoma means invisible and celebrates the invisible aspects of dining —the things we often forget about when enjoying a beautiful meal. The local farmer who worked year-round to grow the food, the small winemaker and brewers cultivating a remarkable drink, and the team whose dedication and drive make your dining experience unforgettable. These often invisible nuances make dining at Atoma special.
