The following description comes from the event organizer.

The game’s afoot as Noveltease Theatre stages its long-awaited literary burlesque adaptation of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes on October 20-22 at Sankofa Theater.

One of the most indelible characters in the literary canon, Holmes and his methods have fascinated readers for well over a century, spawning numerous adaptations and allowing multiple actors to create their own iconic takes on the characters. Noveltease’s upcoming production plays with this legacy of adaptation by featuring three different takes on Holmes, with a different actor in the title role of each! Additionally, each story is adapted, choreographed, and directed by different members of the Noveltease Theatre company.

In 2020, Noveltease Theatre was merely two weeks away from premiering this show before COVID ground the production to a halt. Now, two years later, Noveltease will finally bring this production to the stage!

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes will be performed on October 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 PM at Sankofa Theater. The show features Noveltease Core Company members Onyx Asili, Fosse Jack, Al Lykya, Sailor St. Claire, and Trixie Paprika, along with Associate Artists Lulu La Lune, Scarlett Folds, Miss Elaine Yes and special guest Willy Nilly.
