The following description comes from the event organizer.

Youth Gone Wild is the first solo exhibition from Seattle based artist, Beau Van Greener. The show is a collection of paintings and figures created over the past year. They're all rooted in pop culture themes and with a skewed nostalgic perspective that ask the viewer "Where did we lose our imagination?" You can read the artist statement below:

"I created this series of work to express feelings of nostalgia and uncertainty. As we grow older, we often find ourselves yearning for a time that once was. But as we know, life only moves forward. Memories fade or become distorted. That cartoon character we once loved may look different than we remember.

This show isn’t about dwelling on the past, but looking to the future and how things can change and alter. While we appreciate what once was, we must also remember not to take life so seriously. So slow down and go wild!"

All artwork and figures will be available for purchase. There will be music and free beer and wine for those 21+. For more information check out Beau Van Greener @CredendaStudios and The Odd Sea @The_OddSea on Instagram or visit CredendaStudios.com
