Caffe Umbria has its own roastery (in Tacoma) supplying coffee to cafes across the country. Their cafe (in Pioneer Square, with lots of outdoor seating on the lovely, tree-y cobblestone plaza) serves really good espresso, pastries, sandwiches, and gelato. Also, you get a free piece of chocolate with every drink.
