FareStart serves lunch Monday through Friday and, every Thursday evening, hosts Guest Chef Night, featuring dinners by great Seattle chefs—reserve in advance for your favorites, as these tend to sell out fast. All restaurant proceeds support FareStart’s mission to provide “a community that transforms lives by empowering homeless and disadvantaged men, women, and families to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food service industry.” FareStart is a fantastic thing, and you should go there often.
