The wine bar inside the downtown Sheraton is built around a restored fountain by George Tsutakawa, who also designed the distinctive fountains at Safeco Field, Pier 41, and the main branch of the Seattle Public Library, among many others. The Sheraton reportedly chucked the fountain in 2006 but asked Tsutakawa’s son if they could have it back during a 2013 renovation. Fountain-the-wine-bar doesn’t have a kitchen, but you can order from the Daily Grill menu if you’re desperate.
