Jhanjay has some of the best fake meat in the city. Unlike other restaurants that use the overprocessed spongy fake meat, Jhanjay makes its own in-house: thick layers of shredded and pressed mushrooms that unfold as you chew, like striations of real meat. It’s especially good with the crunchy bamboo shoots and water chestnuts in their signature Jhanjay noodle dish.
