The 100 Pound Clam
What started out as a one man-operated clam cannery in 1905 quickly transformed into a lucrative business, and then eventually turned into The 100 Pound Clam, sister restaurant to Matt's in the Market, Radiator Whiskey and the nearby White Swan Public House. Here you'll find fish sandwiches, chowders, drinks and more. People especially like the ocean-inspired "poutine," a mashup of Littleneck clams, fries, chowder, bacon and scallions.
