The beloved Octopus Bar closed last November and plans to reopen in their new home next to the shuttered Guild Theater soon. In the meantime, fans can enjoy food from their new nautical-themed takeout window, which opened in late October and serves sandwiches, hot dogs, and booze to-go. Drinks include spiked lemonade, boozy hot drinks, drink combo "tackleboxes," beer, and house-made canned cocktails, such as the "No Ship Sherlock" (Jameson, ginger beer, apple cider/rosemary/cranberry syrup) and the "Knot Too Shabby" (pear and elderflower Absolut vodka, vanilla lemon syrup, soda), while food includes sandwiches, fried chicken, fries, tater tots, chili, pretzels, and other salty snacks.
