This bare-bones place in a strip mall in Lake City has survived for more than two decades by doing one thing right: making forearm-sized sandwiches with bizarre combinations of toppings that would just be too laborious and/or messy to produce at home. Raspberry-chipotle sauce? Tuna, wasabi, mayo, and avocado? Tubs has it. Bonus: Tubs also puts bacon, natureβs greatest condiment, on just about everything.
