Going to Brazil

Stranger Says:

If you’re into comedy, murderous adventure, and surly, smoking, foul-mouthed French women, this is your pick. A drugged-up douchebag attempts to rape one of the four leads, a cohort of young women who are beautiful but have issues, and he is punted off a high balcony without a second thought. Only after the regret sets in does the group finds out his identity—and it doesn’t bode well for them. Don’t pick apart the filmmaking, don’t dwell on the (fairly unsuccessful, but thankfully brief) emotional discussions, and don’t expect a portrait of Brazil. Just take turns laughing and gasping.
